1/12/16 BOARD OF AUDITORS MINUTES
Present: Martha Beyersdorf, Erica Hurd and Patty Haskins.
Meeting Called to order @ 11:08 AM.
Approved Minutes of January 4, 2016 meeting with motion by Martha and 2nd by Erica. Gave to Patty.
Agenda Modifications
- Meeting scheduled 1/11/16 was cancelled due to illness. Jessica Fuster sent email regrettably stepping down as Auditor as of December 30, 2015. We will seek replacement. Sarah Gallagher had a great idea. She suggested having the Town Moderator read off the names of the individuals who passed away in 2015 and ask for a moment of silence at the town meeting.
Town Report
a. Review/Edit
- Financials for the Fire Dept. and Trustee of Public funds have come in to be gone over next meeting.
- In reviewing the table of contents, we changed Other Reports to only include Vital Statistics and Town Property. And added a Town Reports heading for remaining Municipal reports previously listed as Other Reports. Erica suggested alphabetizing Town Officer Reports and Town Reports since Community Service Reports is always listed that way. Erica also suggested alphabetizing Town Compendium and Regular Meetings. This would in turn create a better flow for self-guided reading.
- Martha has experimented with logos, using them as headings and watermarks. We talked about corner justified placement as another option, Martha will continue to tweak these options for review next meeting.
-Erica will take picture of the Pittsfield Historical Society sign to use as the logo for their report.
c. Other Concerns – Patty will have Misc funds, and Highway funds ready to audit next in time for next Mondays meeting. She was still awaiting Roger Clark Memorial Library’s financial report as the only one not received. Erica will contact Eunice McDonald Rice.
