Taxes are due in the Town Clerk’s Office in two installments, on or before 5 p.m. 
the 3rd Thursday in August (Aug. 20, 2026)
the 3rd Thursday in November ​(Nov. 19, 2026)
Postmarks are not accepted as timely payment.
1% per month charged after August 21st
8% penalty added after November 20th

Dog Licenses Due April 1st
All dogs residing in the Town of Pittsfield
must be licensed with the Town on or before April 1st
 of each year.  
Present current rabies certificate at Town Office​ to obtain license. Fee $11 spayed/neutered, $15 Intact
