The booklet, which is an official Change of Appraisal notification, with new property values has been printed and mailed to all property owners. It includes dates to setup informational hearings about your properties as well as dates and requirements for formal grievance hearings should you wish to appeal.
Starting 4/19 – A digital copy of the Change of Appraisal notification booklet and an online viewer of results by property, including a property card, will be available on the Lister Page of the town website.
5/2, 5/3 – Informal discussion of your property valuation with the assessors by appointment.
5/9 – Written notification of a desire to formally grieve the assessment of your property must be received by the end of the day, either by mail or email. (Refer to booklet for more info about what that notification should include.)
5/10, 5/11 – Formal grievance hearings will be held by appointment.
6/1 – Results of grievance hearings mailed by this date.
6/4 – Grand List lodged with Town Clerk
