ANNUAL DISTRICT REORGANIZATION:
I. Call to Order: Sherry calls the meeting to order at 7:09
2. Elections and Appointments
o Officers:
• Board Chair: Ray nominates Kris Sperber, Pete seconds and it passed unanimously.
• MVSU Representative: Kris nominates Ray Rice, Pete seconds and it passes unanimously.
• Cleric Kris nominates Pete DuBois, Ray seconds and it passes unanimously.
3. Operational Decisions:
o Approve regular board meeting schedule: Approved unanimously
o Designate posting places for agendas/minutes (on attached schedule) o
Designate newspaper for notification of meetings ( on attached schedule)
4. Amendments to the Agenda: none
5. Approve Minutes: December, February and the Town Meeting minutes all passed unanimously
6. Public Comment: Katie Stiles had a question about tuitioning into Killington Elementary, Sherry
fielded the question beautifully.

Pittsfield School Board Meeting Schedule for the 2024-2025 School Year
The Pittsfield School Board's regularly scheduled monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM at the Pittsfield Town Office building. The following is a list of monthly meetings for the school year:

Meeting changes: Should a conflict occur that requires a change of meeting elate or time the change will be posted as soon as possible with the new meeting information at the designated posting sites.

• Mountain Views Supervisory Union bulletin board and website
Special meetings are sometimes necessary, particularly during budget preparation and prior to the annual Town Meeting. Special meeting information will be posted in the designated sites at least 24 hours in advance of the special meeting. 
Emergency meetings may be necessary to address an unforeseen event or an emergency. Public 
notice will be given as soon as possible. 
The Mountain Times is the local public newspaper used by the Pittsfield School District. 
Monthly meeting agendas and minutes are available on the WCSU's website, www.wcsu.net, and the Town of Pittsfield's website, www.pittsfielclvt.com.

1. Call to Order: Kris motions to call the meeting to order at 7:03 and it passes unanimously
2. Amendments to the Agenda: Chat with Jim Fenn
3. Jim Fenn: The tax numbers still aren't finalized, but our budget is as accurate as possible. Jim recommends that we put some of our surplus
into a CD to roll it over until we need it in the next couple of years.
4. Approve Minutes: January minutes approved unanimously and December minutes have to be pushed to the next meeting.
5. Public Comment: Rayna brought us some succulents and cupcakes for School Board appreciation month! Thanks Rayna!!

Present: Kris Sperber, Ray Rice and Pete DuBois Sherry Sousa (virtual) and Jim Fenn (virtual) 
AGENDA 
1. Call to Order: Kris called the meeting to order at 7:03
2. Amendments to the Agenda: Ray motioned to add a discussion about the budget with James Fenn, Kris seconded and it passed unanimously.
3. Budget: We had a lengthy discussion about the ELA and the Yeild, it was very helpful. Thank you Sherry and Jim! Kris motions to pass a budget of 1,014,593.00, Ray seconded and it passed unanimously. Kris motions that she completes the district warning as we always have and that the correct equalized pupil rate($11,912.00). Ray seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. Thank you again to Jim Fenn for going back and forth with us to get the budget sorted out, your hard work is greatly appreciated!
4. Approve Minutes: The November meeting minutes were approved unanimously. The December minutes were tabled until the next meeting.
5. Public Comment: None
6. Action/Discussion Items
o New Business:
• Kris motions to adopt the same Town Report with updated figures to reflect this year's budget. It will be emailed to the board members for final approval. Ray seconded and it passed unanimously.
• Payment Procedure document signed by all board members.
